Downpatrick Head

Our third visit in Ireland began in Ballina co. Mayo. The weather was very windy so we could not use a tripod for long exposures. Therefore I made many shorter ones and tried to capture big waves crushing on the “layered cake” as I head this rock is called. The other shoits were hand held because the wind became so strong that even standing still became difficult. Nevertheless it was an unforgettable experience.
