Lago di Fusine inferiore

Near Italy’s Slovenian border, just outside Tarvisio are located two beautiful glacial lakes, Lago Inferiore (the inferior lake) and Lago Superiore (the superior lake). The valley of the Fusine Lakes is one of the most fascinating places in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy. The lakes of glacial origin are connected to one another by easy paths hidden in a thick spruce forest and are located at the bottom of the Mangart mountain range.
